Graphics export

CLC Genomics Workbench supports two ways of exporting graphics:

Using export tools to export graphics

The following types of data can be exported using dedicated export tools:

The general actions taken are:

Options available when exporting sequences, alignments and read mappings to graphics format files are shown in figure 8.15.

Options available when exporting tracks and track lists to graphics format files are shown in figure 8.16. Additional notes relating to output naming when exporting fusion plots from a fusion gene track are provided at the end of this section.

Naming fusion plots exports

The fusion plots exporter produces a plot for each fusion in a fusion gene track. When configuring the export, the Custom file name setting should be set so that there will be a unique name for each plot (including when plots will be exported to a zip file).

Including the {name} placeholder means the name of the fusion will be included in the file name, which thus ensures unique filenames for all the plots in the export.

Note: The custom file name pattern is applied to each individual plot file and also to the zip file, if zip compression is selected.
