Identify candidate variants

To run the Identify candidate variants, go to the toolbox:

The Identify Candidate Variants tool can be used to identify only the variants that fulfill certain criteria. This means that the Identify candidate variants tool is to be used together with a filter criteria file created with the Create Filter Criteria tool (see Create Filter Criteria). Hence, the Identify Candidate Variants tool takes tracks with annotated or non-annotated variants as input as well as the relevant filter criteria file that was generated with the Create Filter Criteria tool.

The output from the Identify Candidate Variants tool is a variant track (and table) that contains only the variants that fulfill the specified filter criteria.
