UMAP and tSNE plot functionality

The UMAP for Single Cell and tSNE for Single Cell tools (see Dimensionality reduction) produce dimensionality reduction plots from which

• different aspects of the data can be visualized;
• cells can be manually annotated;
• various tools can be started using the information selected in the plot.

This chapter describes this functionality, showcasing specific aspects using a UMAP plot of data from [MacParland et al., 2018].
