Create QIAseq Exome CNV Control Mapping

The Create QIAseq Exome CNV Control Mapping ready-to-use workflow generates mappings suitable for use as control mappings for the CNV detection step of the Identify QIAseq Exome Germline Variants workflow (Illumina). We recommend a minimum of 3 control samples be used for creating control mappings.

The Create QIAseq Exome CNV Control Mapping workflow can be found at:

Ready-to-Use Workflows | QIAseq Panel Analysis (Image qiaseqrna_folder_closed_16_n_p) | QIAseq Analysis workflows (Image qiaseq_workflows_folder_closed_16_n_p) | Create QIAseq Exome CNV Control Mapping (Image qiaseq_here_control_mapping9)

This workflow can also be launched from the Analyze QIAseq Panels guide, which is described in The Analyze QIAseq Panels guide. It is available under the Exome tab.

This workflow includes the same initial processing steps as the Identify QIAseq Exome Germline Variants ready-to-use workflow, described in Identify QIAseq Exome Germline Variants. Thus, the initial steps to launch these workflows are similar. The key difference is the recommendation that at least 3 control samples are used as input to create a contol mapping.

We recommend that the default QIAseq reference set is selected for use, both when generating control mappings and when analyzing cases using the Identify QIAseq Exome Germline Variants ready-to-use workflow.
