Proxy settings
The connector's network traffic can be routed through a proxy by opening the settings menu in the top right of the connector, selecting Proxy settings, and configuring the following settings before logging in:
- Mandatory proxy settings:
- Host
- Port
- Provide the following settings if the proxy requires authentication:
- User
- Password
Reach out to your network administrator to obtain the proxy settings.
Running behind a transparent proxy on Windows
When running the connector behind a transparent proxy, it cannot verify the certificate of the proxy using the connector's own certificate store. On Windows® systems the connector can be configured to use the Windows root certificate trust store by enabling its use in the VMOPTIONS file located in the installation folder of the connector (requires restart of connector). In order to enable the setting, the # must be removed from the beginning of the following line:
