Starting and stopping automation

Once automation settings have been configured for a workflow (see Configuring automation settings), automation can be turned on and off by selecting the workflow in the list of active workflows on the Workflows tab (see figure 2.9) and clicking the Start and Stop buttons, respectively.

Registering connector to extend login

The first time automation is started after logging in to the connector, the connector must be registered to extend the duration of the login session. Clicking the Start button will:

  1. Open a dialog in the connector displaying a device code that must be used to register the connector.
  2. Open a browser window to use for completing the device registration process.

After providing the device code in the opened browser window and completing the registration process, the browser will display the expiration date of the device registration. When nearing the expiration date, you will receive an email with a link for extending the registration. If the registration is not extended before it expires, you must log out of the connector and start a new session. When registering the connector, it is recommended to remove any old registrations displayed in the browser window as these are no longer in use.

After completing the registration process in the browser window, you must click continue in the dialog displayed in the connector.
