Logging in the first time and changing the root password
When the CLC Server is running, you can log into the web administrative interface using the CLC Server root user default credentials:
- User name:
root - Password:
default
For security reasons, you should change this password, as shown in figure 4.1.
Before users start submitting jobs to the CLC Server, you should at a minimum set up user authentication and data locations.
Note: On a job node setup, it can be convenient to set up the job nodes before changing the authentication mechanism and root password (see Job Distribution).
