The selection panel

The selection panel shows the protein and residue currently being optimized (figure 10.28). Residues may be selected in a variety of ways, for example by clicking within the 3D view, via a selection on a linked sequence, or from a Molecule Project's Issue Editor.

Note: mutating a residue in the current protein will break connections to its linked sequence.
