Browsing CLC Server File System Locations
CLC File System Locations are listed in the Navigation Area on the left-hand side of the web client (figure 9.1). When an element or folder is selected, information about it is displayed under:
Element info (
) | Info (
)
When the element selected is a log file, contents of the log are also displayed in this area.
The CLC URL section in this area contains URLs for the item. The CLC URL ID remains static, as long as the item remains in the same File System Location. The other two URLs change if the item is moved or renamed.
CLC URLs, both the ID and Name forms, can be used in the Navigation Area search field in CLC Workbenches or in the server web client to navigate to an item. These URLs are also the most common way to specify data inputs or output locations when using the CLC Server Command Line Tools.
When a Web URL is entered into the address bar of a web browser, the web client opens with the relevant item selected in the Navigation Area.
Various actions are available in this area, including moving data to the recycle bin. Members of the admin group also can also empty all recycle bins (figure 9.1).
