Setting up BLAST databases for CLC Science Server

To configure BLAST database locations for use on the SGE, please take the following steps:
  1. Log into CLC Science Server as an administrative user through the web interface
  2. Add the location where BLAST databases are located as an import/export directory. Please make sure that all SGE nodes will have access to this location at the path specified.
  3. At the bottom of the web interface, select the BLAST Databases section
  4. Click the button to Edit BLAST Database Locations. Choose the desired location(s) from the drop down menu and click the button to Add as BLAST Location then click Save.
When BLAST databases are available for use via CLC Science Server, you will see them listed in the BLAST Databases section of the web interface.
