Output from the Quantify QIAseq UPX 3' workflow
The Quantify QIAseq UPX 3' workflow generates the following outputs:
- A Gene Expression track () A track with gene expression annotations, including counts and expression values for each gene. Hovering the mouse over an individual annotation reveals a tooltip with the gene name, expression value and associated information. Further details about this track type can be found at http://resources.qiagenbioinformatics.com/manuals/clcgenomicsworkbench/current/index.php?manual=Expression_tracks.html.
Gene expression tracks can be used in subsequent analyses using tools under the RNA-Seq Analysis and Small RNA Analysis folder of the Toolbox. They can also be used in workflows such as the Detect Differentially Expressed Genes Between Two Groups ready-to-use workflows, which can be launched using the Analyze QIAseq Samples guide.
- Two trimming reports See http://resources.qiagenbioinformatics.com/manuals/clcgenomicsworkbench/current/index.php?manual=Trim_output.html. One is generated after trimming short polyA sequences from the middle of R1 and discarding R2. The second is issued after trimming polyA from R1.
- A UMI Group report () A report containing a breakdown of UMI groups with different number of reads, along with percentage of groups and reads (see Calculate Unique Molecular Index Groups).
- A UMI Group Creation report () A report with information about how many reads were ignored and the reason why they were not included in a UMI read (see Create UMI Reads from Grouped Reads).
- An RNA-Seq report () See http://resources.qiagenbioinformatics.com/manuals/clcgenomicsworkbench/current/index.php?manual=RNA_Seq_report.html.
Note that the Combine Reports tool can be used to combine multiple reports, summarizing results to allow for quality checks across samples. See http://resources.qiagenbioinformatics.com/manuals/clcgenomicsworkbench/current/index.php?manual=Combine_Reports.html for further details.
