Network requirements
To check out a license, the software client needs to establish a TCP-connection to
the license server program running on your server machine. This means that the server system needs to be contactable by clients on the LAN or WAN network.
Clients at remote locations can also use network licenses if they are on systems that can contact the license server, e.g. if they are on systems connected via a VPN gateway or a similar solution.
